Please join us in welcoming Richard Baker as Head Chef here at The Chequers Sevenoaks. Richard’s career has included senior positions in the kitchen’s of Jamie’s, The Royal Albert Hall and Royal Bank of Scotland.


Kent born Richard has decided to move back to his home town of Sevenoaks and help take The Chequers to another level. After visits to local food producers and exploring quality suppliers in the area we are proud to announce our new menu which includes Baked Goats Cheese with Chequers Ale Chutney, locally sourced Venison Pie with a suet pastry crust and a delicious homemade Apple Pie.
